For a .st name, compare the selected registration term within the 1 to 10-year range. Worldwide buyers qualify, and transfers between registrars are supported. The ST Registry (sponsor: Tecnisys, Sao Tome and Principe) operates the namespace.
Renewal notices arrive 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry, followed by a final notice one day before. Naming and content restrictions are part of the buying decision. Internationalized names are unsupported, and the zone is not DNSSEC-signed.

Restrictions
Reserved names: one-letter names A-Z, saotome.st, principe.st, consulado.st, embaixada.st, gov.st, org.st, edu.st, net.st, com.st, store.st, mil.st, co.st. Registering a domain to market adult content or illegal gambling, or for spam, is not allowed, and the registry may remove domains without warning.
Registration
First come, first served registry. Anybody in the world can register a .ST domain. One-character letter names (A-Z) are reserved; digits are not.
Renewal
The registry sends renewal reminders 30, 14 and 7 days before expiry and a final notice 1 day before expiry.
Transfers
Transfers between registrars are supported.
Name rules
Letters a-z (case-insensitive), digits 0-9 and hyphens; 1-23 characters according to the registry terms of service; must not start or end with a hyphen; spaces, accented letters and any other characters are not accepted.
Good to know
One-letter A-Z names and listed institutional labels are reserved. Adult-content marketing, illegal gambling and spam are prohibited; the registry may remove a name without warning.
